SSITV has announced that Nomzamo creator Makhaola Ndebele has joined e.tv’s hot soapie Scandal!.
This was initially shared by Entertainment Commentator Kgopolo “Phil” Mphela.
Makhoala plays the role of Reginald “Reggie” Pheko who is set to be Khanyi Jewel’s art tutor.
REGIES’CASTING BRIEF ON ‘SCANDAL!‘
According to TVSA, the casting brief was, “Reggie is good looking and old-fashioned, between the ages of 40 and 45, and he’s Khanyi-Jewel’s art tutor. He is a gentleman to just about everyone. He is measured, neatly dressed, and disciplined.
“He is retired and is wealthy but he chooses to live a very modest life. After retirement, he decided to take up a hobby he has always been interested in, painting. He now teaches children to draw and has a great relationship with kids,” – as per SSITV.
“He’s been through a lot but the battle scars are hardly visible. Instead they’ve refined him into a polite man who’s quite the gentleman.”
The teaser for Monday 31 October reads:
“An art tutor, talented with children, is introduced to Khanyi”
A SKELEM AGAIN?
Makhaola has acted on the old Generations as Benny, Archie on e.tv’s Scoop Schoombie and most recently, the starring role of Tiny on the Mzansi Magic drama series Umbuso.
Most people are however wondering if the actor will once again portray a role of a thug in a suit. These are role that he is most famous for.
It does however seem like the 51 year old will leave a lot to be desired as he is confronted with the dealings of his past life. Who is this man and what is he hiding?
