South African Police Minister Bheki Cele has stated that there have been no arrests made in the investigation into the murder of South African rapper, AKA.
Cele, who is responsible for all law enforcement in the country, made the revelation in an interview with eNCA. He said that the police have not arrested anyone in connection with the AKA murder investigation, but that “there is progress”.
The South African rapper was killed in a tragic car accident in Johannesburg in February 2021. The accident has captured the attention of the nation, with many celebrities and politicians sending condolences and offering support to his family.

Despite the lack of arrests in the investigation, Cele has urged members of the public to come forward with any information they may have. He said that the police are continuing to investigate the case and that they need the public’s help to bring justice to the rapper’s loved ones.
Cele also said that the police are working with the family of the deceased in order to ensure that justice is served. He said that the police have been providing the family with updates on the investigation, and that they will continue to do so until the case is resolved.

The death of AKA has been a tragedy for South African Hip-Hop and the nation as a whole. Cele’s statement shows that the police are committed to investigating the case and that they are doing their best to bring justice to the rapper’s family.
