DJ Maphorisa has been mistaken by the google algorithm for a woman. Using the insights of the platform’s list of SA’s hottest Female Celebrities, Google or someone put together that list and added Phori Knowing SA Twitter, Maphorisa found himself being the talk of the town…
The disbelief tweeps couldn’t take Chris Excel’s word for it, as he is famously known for his tongue in cheek that almost borders to disrespect on Twitter.
Tweeps went ahead to Google for themselves and to their surprise, DJ Maphorisa has been listed as one of the hottest female celebrities in South Africa.

This is just not Phori’s week
As if that’s the worst of it all, DJ Maphorisa started off the beginning of this month on a bad note. Just recently, he was dragged on Podcast & Chill and accused of ”gatekeeping” the Amapiano world.
MacG has been sternly warned by the DJ and said they will meet at gigs and exchange punches. This follows Phori’s his Instagram live session, where he responded to a few industry-related questions, and a fan accused him of being a gatekeeper.
“We will meet at gigs and he will be scared because I go with bodyguards. He will have to explain to me what he was saying,” he said.
