The accusations stem from his alleged failure to fulfill a scheduled performance at the Simply Piano music show on December 2. Known professionally as Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, Shebeshxt faces potential incarceration after allegedly reneging on a paid performance commitment in Botswana. According to a close acquaintance residing in Botswana, the celebrated “Twerka” sensation might soon face the consequences of failing to honour his contractual obligations at the Simply Piano Music event held last December.

Despite being slated for over 50 appearances nationwide during that period, including two in Botswana, Shebeshxt failed to grace the aforementioned event. Subsequently, the organizing entity, Boxyard Events, pursued legal recourse by lodging a formal complaint against him.

Legal actions escalated to the extent that the Lobatse Magistrates Court issued a provisional decree, warning of potential arrest should Shebeshxt set foot in Botswana, with authorities prepared to escort him to a detention facility. Understandably, this development has left the artist wary of visiting the country.

“He may face arrest. While he’s accustomed to brushes with the law, he’s keen to avoid imprisonment over a missed engagement or risk losing his travel privileges,” revealed an insider source.

A Pattern of Absenteeism Emerges

Shebeshxt’s predicament isn’t an isolated incident. Prior to this, he failed to fulfil a contractual agreement to perform at the Red Square DJ Knock-Out event alongside Skomota, despite receiving full compensation. This no-show not only tarnished his reputation but also resulted in financial losses for the event organizers, who reportedly paid him R45,000 for his appearance.

Organizers of the aforementioned event lamented Shebeshxt’s lack of communication regarding his absence, despite purportedly conversing with his spouse and manager, Kholofelo Chuene. The following day, Shebeshxt attributed his absence to vehicular breakdown.

Another instance of absenteeism occurred during the Easter weekend at Ejays Lounge in Moime village, further exacerbating concerns about Shebeshxt’s reliability as a performer.
