Cassper Celebrates SAFTA Win. Cassper Nyovest will one day have to look back and smile following the wins he has bagged to his name. The rapper is not only making strides in SA hip hop, but he has been an all-rounder and successful Mzansi celebrity.

On July 14 Cassper’s Braai Show was nominated for the Best Variety Show. Despite the controversy regarding the Braai, the Tito Mboweni chanter took to Twitter and celebrated the nomination. “The Braai Show with Cassper Nyovest is now SAFTA nominated. I thank you.” Tweeted Cassper.
Fast-forward to the awards day, Mufasa expressed his excitement after Braai Show With Cass scored a SAFTA. In a tweet, the rapper could not believe that he is a SAFTA winner at the same time giving a shout to the production team that made it all possible.

The Braai Show was marred with a lot of controversies after Cassper was announced as the new host. This came after AKA decided to take a step back from all his business endeavors following the passing away of his ex-fiancée Nelli Tembe.
The show changed its name to The Braai Show with Cassper Nyovest, and the rapper hosts guests like Somizi Mhlongo, Miss Universe 2019, Zozibini Tunzi, and DJ Sumbody. AKA was involved in a legal fight with MakhuduCom and Cake Media over The Braai Show’s property rights in August 2021. A court determined in March of this year that he controlled 50% of the show.
