South African media personality Tbo Touch caused a stir on social media after he gave advice that some tweeps considered bizarre. Taking to his official Twitter account, he claimed that R100k today would have depreciated in value by about 90 per cent in two years.
That is, the sum of R100,000 would be about R10,000 in the next two years. He ended up by saying that those who are earning R20k at the moment should make all the effort to start earning R200k in two years.
