After weeks of creative thinking and writing for the Turfloop High Grade 8 class, Paxton has seemingly done what most people were suspecting he may do.
Paxton realised the potential that Mosebjadi has and the possibility of her winning the R10 000 in the short story competition and befriended her.
The unsuspecting Mosebjadi was willing to assist him with his short story provided that he helps her as well. Paxton suggested this arrangement by the way.
The short stories were submitted last week Wednesday. Paxton does not need the money, but Mosebjadi does, so she made sure that she did her best. The same can’t be said about Paxton.
On Wednesday 2 November, the judging process for the short story competition started and Kwaito expressed his excitement for the learners.
The teasers reveal that the winner of the competition will be finally announced. This will leave a lot of the students surprised.
The Monday 14 November teaser reads:
“The winner of the short story competition is finally announced, and it leaves some people shocked. “
The Tuesday 15 November teaser reads:
“Mosebjadi makes a shocking discovery while listening to Pax’s Berry FM interview.”
Then on Wednesday, 16 November, Mosebjadi will finally accept the painful truth about being poor.
