Leleti Khumalo was born 30 March 1970 and she is a South African actress best known for playing the leading role of Sarafina. Leleti Khumalo is known from Uzalo where she was playing the character of MaNzuza. The actress become popular when she decided to join Imbewu: The Seed, where she is currently playing the character of MaZulu Bhengu.
She was married to Mbongeni Ngema for 14 years, Mbongeni played as a dective in the South Africa movie Sarafina. They got married in 1992 and divorced in 2005. They do not have any children together and it’s not clear about the reason of their divorce.
Leleti has since moved with her life since the divorce. She is happily married to her husband Skhumbuzo Winston Khanyile since 2012 and they have two kids together. Apparently Leleti Khumalo had her first pregnancy at the age of 43. The actress had triplets and one did not survive and she’s left with twins who were born in 2013.
Leleti Khumalo have played leading role in some drama and series such as Sarafina, Hotel Rwanda, Yesterday and Invictus, Uzalo and currently in Imbewu: The Seed. The actress is also a film Director of Imbewu.
