SA Celerity Updates: Vusi Nova in a Deadly Accident!

South African singer and songwriter, Vusi Nova, recently escaped death after a head-on accident on the R24 highway in Johannesburg. The Land Rover owned by Vusi is totally written off, however the singer himself escaped with minor injuries.

Vusi Nova was on his way back from a performance at Somizi Mhlongo’s Golden Jubilee celebration when the accident occurred. According to EWN reporter, Dineo Bendile, the accident happened around midnight.

“Vusi was driving on his way back from the gig and a car that was coming from the opposite direction veered into his lane,” Bendile said.

Thankfully, the injuries Vusi sustained were minor and he was able to walk away from the accident.

Social media has been abuzz with messages of shock and relief at the news of Vusi Nova’s close call with death. Fans of the singer have flooded his Twitter and Instagram with messages of relief and well-wishes as he recovers from the trauma.

This isn’t the first time Vusi Nova has been involved in a car accident. In 2016, Vusi was involved in a car accident while in Namibia. Luckily, he and the other passengers in the vehicle suffered only minor injuries in that incident as well.

Vusi Nova is one of the most talented and inspiring musicians in South Africa. We’re glad to hear he’s escaped this accident unscathed and we wish him a speedy recovery.
