Gqom Queen Bongekile Simelane, popularly known as Babes Wodumo, might be taking home a R100 000 salary as revealed on the latest episode of her reality show Uthando Lodumo which released on Showmax on 3 November.
DOES BABES WODUMO TAKE HOME R100K?
Gqom Queen Babes Wodumo may just be taking home R100 000 a month, as a rough estimate. Legacy financial management member Khanyisa Bomoyi estimated that Babes brings home R100 000 on the latest episode of Uthando Lodumo which was released on Showmax on 3 November.
“The first thing you would have is your monthly income. We can say roughly R100 000,” said Bomoyi.
“Then your gross income right, your gross profit,” she continues before Babes chimes in to check if she meant “groceries”.
She goes on to suggest that the Wololo hitmaker makes another R50 000 with endorsements. So, are these realistic amounts of money made by Babes? Well she said that they were examples.
“I ended up giving her examples of the amounts I have,” she said.
THE GQOM ARTISTS CLAIMS MAMPINTSHA ‘BENEFITS’ FROM HER ROYALTIES
On a previous episode of Uthando Lodumo, Babes claimed that Mampintsha signed her to a company that she doesn’t know and she claimed that he has been benefiting off her royalties.
“He has signed me to some company I don’t know, in fact I never signed, basically he committed fraud. I was told he took my documents to some company which is now benefiting off of my royalties. I am even surprised on Facebook because some my songs no longer belong to me,” she said.
She went on to say that she has not received a cent from her royalties.
“And when we approach some of those companies he signed with that I don’t know, then will then show us proof of payments made to him instead. I have never seen a cent from those money paid to him,” she added.
She also claimed that he has been cheating on her.
