Manchester United Football Club of England has just paid tribute to South African rapper AKA. who was gunned down just outside Wish Restaurant alongside his former manager Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane.
The news of his murder reverberated around the world back then, with peeps sharing their thoughts and condoling with his fans, He was buried two weeks after his killings. Ny the memories remain. Manchester United is the latest to pay tribute to the slain “Fela in Versace” chanter.
Benni McCarthy, a South African footballer with deep roots in United, shared the programme of the club, which also includes a tribute to the late AKA.
The programme described AKA as a huge Red fan. The club also extended its heartfelt condolences to AKA’s family.
His tragic killing on the streets still continues to haunt many. The point-blank shot dropped him to the floor, with his blood staining the streets.
AK might be gone. But his legacy is still very much alive and will be for a long time to come.
