When it comes to the beef between rap rivals Cassper Nyovest and AKA – they believe the shadier, the better! And that’s exactly the new low Cass aspired to after giving his nemesis the title of Billiato “brand ambassador”
On Friday evening, the “Fill Up” star fuelled speculation he had called a truce with his industry enemy. This, after hinting that AKA had come on board his business ventures.
But is the news too good to be true or is it the latest attack between the former friends?
CASSPER TROLLS RAP RIVAL WITH BILLIATO PHOTOSHOP
Cassper caught his social media fans by surprise after tweeting a picture of AKA holding a bottle of his liquor; Billiato.
He captioned the questionable snap: “Introducing the new Brand Ambassador of Billiato. Mix it with Lemonade”
Whilst fans may have fallen for the suggestion that the pair have buried the hatchet, it was the last line that had them seeing through the foolery.
Lemonade is the title of AKA’s new track with fellow rapper Nasty C.
The Billiato pic was also posted by a popular tweep Hybreed, who is known for Photoshopping images.
“I can also play the trolling game. Lol… let’s have some fun”, Cassper added.
In the comments section, tweeps accused Cassper of having an “unhealthy obsession” with AKA.
@tunech_life: “AKA can just make one tweet and go offline but this baby here always crying and crying and crying@ussymypussy: “You are so obsessed with AKA”@KCxMU_Supporter: “You really want his attention so you can pull the victim card like you always do”
The Twitter shade comes days after Cassper and AKA almost came to blows after the latter performed his diss track Composure at an event they both attended – the Spring Fiesta concert.
AKA SPOTTED WITH DRIP FOUNDER
Meanwhile, Twitter users suspect Cassper’s shady tweet about AKA being a fan of Billiato was in reaction to a picture posted earlier by AKA, alongside Drip Footwear founder Lekau Sehoana.
It’s a well-known fact that Lekau is close friends with Cassper, who even has a R100 million collaboration with Drip, called Root of Fame.
But tweeps thought the move was shady on AKA’s part.
“You took Nadia Nakai from Cassper now you’re taking Lekau”, said one tweep.
